Installing Calibre 1.33 in Ubuntu
Ubuntu 14.04 comes with Calibre 1.25, but the official website provides instructions to fetch and install the latest release, which is 1.33. To do so, open the terminal and type the following commands:

sudo -v && wget -nv -O- https://raw.githubusercontent.com/kovidgoyal/calibre/master/setup/linux-installer.py | sudo python -c “import sys; main=lambda:sys.stderr.write(‘Download failed\n’); exec(sys.stdin.read()); main()”
